 I began to fall in love with this famous 90’s rock song just when I started to learn how to play a guitar. I was almost enchanted by the amazing and skillful guitar solo by Don Henley .I didn’t care much about the lyrics because it’s rather hard for me to understand what the real meaning is! Like every guitar learners, I always dream of being able to play guitar as good as Don Henley, a legend solo guitarist of all different ages, someday!

    Fiona Fung is one of the most famous Hong Kong Cantonese Pop singer that I’m really love.”Proud Of You”, “Love You Love Me”, “Color Your Life”, “Darling”…. are her popular songs in Asia .Most of her songs are as sweet as her softly angel voice and as pretty as her appearance. Love in her songs are so romantic and gentle like an autumn breeze. I wish that I could have such a sweet and sentimental love affair like that when I grow up someday. Papa He Loves Mama by Joan Regan

         Like a close friend, this song has companied me during my childhood. It was used to lull me to sleep as I was a baby girl. Every time listening to this song, its melodious rhythm, sweet lyric and the giggling sounds of the kids in the song make me feel as if I was falling asleep in my mom loving arms once again!

          I do love the lyric of this song because it seems like a beautiful love story with the happy ending of my parents. They were first neighbors, classmates then soul mates through years of High School and felling love with each other at University. On January 1^st, 1994, they finally became the happiest couple in the world after they both graduated from University .Although I was not be able to attend my parents’ wedding day(of course not J) but I do believe on that day , my mom’s “starry eyes looked so pretty  “ just like the bride’s in the song. Later, on the two rememberable days of February 9, 1999 and October 14, 2006, Kitty myself and Nicky, my baby brother came to the world as the two “wonderful bundle of joy” of my parents.

     Especially, on last Jan 1, 2012, I and my brother Nicky surprised our parents by covering this song to celebrate their 18^th Wedding Anniversary. It made my parents be so touch and happy that they were almost in tears! Every day I keep my fingers cross to pray that the love my parents has cherished during such a long time will last forever, like the Chorus, my most favorite part of this song “Papa,  loves Mama! Mama she loves Papa!”Dear Dad and Mom, we‘re so proud of you and your beautiful faithful love!

 I’m so lucky to have such a great “Papa” in my life. He is talentive, hard-working, humorous, generous, energetic…and above all, he gives me and my little brother an unconditional love and caring. On last December 18, 2011, I was singing this song and playing the guitar myself to celebrate his Birthday. I’m terribly sorry if I had damaged your beautiful song with my awful voice and clumsy fingers, Mr. Paul Anka! But my Dad insisted to tell me that for him, my performance was even better than yours! I didn’t believe him till I saw tears in his eyes!!!

      Corbin sang his new song from the Disney Channel movie “Jump in “.I love the excited rhythm and the power of hope and self- confident that the lyrics of the song bring to me. Listening to this song, I ‘m sure that nobody can stand still but get out of their seats and started to dance, me either J .That’s why I‘d chosen this song to perform in AIS’s “Talent Show 2011”.Obviously, I was just an amateur performer and could not compare to Corbin Bleu.But thank to this hot song and the little moves of my hips, I was made a rather good impression to the audience from the very beginning of my performance! It was such a sweet memory of mine!

Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton

      This amazing song describes a painful feeling when our artist (Eric Clapton) losing his poor little 4 year- old son, Connor, when he fell from the window of the 53th-floor apartment This is one of the famous and emotional songs that Eric had composed to memorize his beloved daughter. This suffer event made Eric feel decline in such a long time to recover. His choking voice of emotion and the cold and dry sound of his guitar was mixed together absolutely made our hearts break.

        Honestly, I‘ve never like this song before, simply just because of its lyrics and rhythm are too sad. Then last year, an unexpected event happened in my life: my loving Grandma has got cancer, an incurable disease. I was so shocked and it took me a long time to accept that cruel truth. My grandma was so optimistic, she sang this song over and over again, smiled then told me “Be strong, honey. That’s life! I promise we’d meet in heaven someday, and you could be sure that I‘d hold your hand and then call you by name. No matter what I’d never forget your guys!”

         Since that day, “Tears In Heaven” suddenly became one of my favorite songs. Don’t know why, every time listening to this amazing song, my teardrops naturally running down my face. I miss you so much, Grandma! May God bless you and keep you safe as long as possible!

            Thank you, Mr. Clapton! Your song let me realize that life is too short so we should learn how to esteem our family members as much as we could do: how to show your love to them as much as possible as if tomorrow wouldn’t come.

       I’ve been a fan of “Hannah Montana” since I was 9, but this is probably one of Miley’s best songs. It‘s melodious, real and touching like a gentle lullaby .I know she sang about her dad, Billy Cyrus .He‘s not only a famous singer but also an amazing dad!  I like the way Billy encouraged Miley, his little daughter how to overcome lots of unexpected events that might happen in her life by the image of the life cycle of butterflies. To become a colorful one, a butterfly must spend many tough stages: from a tiny egg at the beginning, the ugly caterpillar, the weak pupa that hibernates over winter, then come a beautiful and gorgeous butterfly at the end. Similarly, to become a successful and mature person, we also have to study, practising our patience and self-control, learn how to be strong and overcome all the obstacles in life. Miley’s so lucky to have such a great Dad like Billy! So do I! Lucky me!

       This has to be the sweetest song I've ever heard!  Bruno means that he loves this girl so much that in his eyes, she’s absolutely perfect. He never wants her to change anything of herself because he loves her the way she is. His voice is so passionate .I think I'd be the happiest girl in the world if my guy (I mean in the future) dedicates this song to me someday! This is not only such a perfect cute, sweet and romantic song but also my unforgettable memory of performing it in AIS’s“Talent Show 2011”! Love it!

        “Firework” has caused a deep impression in me as I first accidently listened to it and recognized that it was Star World‘s theme song .I love the exciting rhythm, the positive meaningful lyrics of the song. Even though its lyric is similar to “Spark Fly” by Taylor Swift  and “Just the way you are” by Bruno Mars .But above all , I love “a flame full of vitality “ in Katy Perry’s voice the most , especially in the part “Baby you’re firework. Come on show them what you worth. Make them go-“Oh, oh, oh”.  

          To me, Katy encourages people who have low self-esteem or feeling in a bad mood, to see how much of a great person they really are. They are their own person and should be proud of it.. Always being proud of your inner beauty and individuality and not being afraid to show it to the world that: “You’re not a plastic bag, drifting to the wind! You’re firework. Let it shine in the night.” Persistently cherish hopes in life and never lose confidence in ourselves, because “After a hurricane comes a rainbow!” It's a really good confidence booster; I really love listening to this song J
